Who We Are

First Tin was established in 2012 as Treliver Minerals Limited, with initial exploration activities at Treliver Farm in Cornwall, UK. In 2013, we expanded into mainland Europe with the acquisition of Saxore Bergbau GmbH in Germany. Following a corporate restructure, Saxore became a direct holding and our UK operations transitioned into a corporate head office.

Through Saxore, we hold a long-term mining licence, valid until 2070, for the Rittersgrün field in Saxony, which contains the Tellehäuser Tin Project.  First Tin also has two exploration licenses, for Auersberg and Gottesberg, which are contiguous with the Rittesgrün Mining License.

As part of our 2022 IPO, First Tin acquired Taronga Mines Pty Ltd, securing the valuable Taronga Tin Project in northern New South Wales, Australia. Located near Emmaville, the project has rapidly become our flagship development, underpinned by strong resource potential, strategic location, and supportive infrastructure. We’ve significantly expanded our operations in the region, growing from one mining lease and four exploration licences to a total exploration tenure of around 752 km² across the Emmaville district.

Our Vision: Tin for Tomorrow

At First Tin, we are focused on delivering responsibly sourced tin from conflict-free, low-risk jurisdictions through the rapid development of high-value, low-capex projects in Australia and Germany.

Led by a team of renowned tin specialists, our ambition is to use best-in-class environmental and community engagement standards to bring tin into production. We aim to deliver a sustainable and reliable answer to the supply issues faced by industrial tin consumers and provide this vital material to support the global clean energy transition and technological revolution.

We are committed to attaining the highest level of corporate governance, underpinned by a culture that values performance, integrity, respect and global responsibility.

Corporate Governance

Our corporate governance structure and risk management framework are designed to balance our core operations – sustainable tin mining and processing – with long term value creation for our shareholders.

Experience that Delivers

Our leadership team brings more than 150 years of combined experience across tin exploration, development, mining, processing, and commercialisation. This collective expertise drives our ability to advance complex projects efficiently, sustainably, and with long-term strategic impact.
