Gottesberg – Germany
Unlocking Processing Potential: A Key Satellite Orebody to Support Tellerhäuser
The Gottesberg area was explored for uranium from the 1940s to 1980s. State-funded underground diamond drilling programmes found tin mineralisation, but work was suspended in the 1990s. Further surface diamond drilling in 2011 confirmed tin mineralisation.
Results from recent fieldwork has identified a northeast trending zone approximately 11km long from Gottesberg to Gabe Gottes, in Auersberg. The work also confirmed the presence of multiple critical raw materials, including gallium and indium, in addition to tin, further enhancing the strategic importance of this project within the EU.
